Venlafaxine hydrochloride XR 75mg capsules can make you drowsy and dizzy. Limit alcohol consumption as it can worsen your condition. It also blurs your vision, temporarily.

Older adults are more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, especially dizziness. Whereas, children are sensitive to the side effects; especially; weight loss or loss of appetite.

Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant as it can harm your unborn baby. If you are planning a pregnancy, or think you may be pregnant, immediately inform your doctor.

Do not suddenly stop taking Effexor XR 150mg capsules, as it can cause serious conditions.

This drug also passes into the breast milk and have undesirable effects on a nursing infant.
