Generic Aceon Plus High Dose 8mg/2.5 mg Tab is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients, perindopril and erbumine. This medication comes from the drug class known as angiotensin-converting enzyme, which is used for managing high blood pressure and reducing the chances of heart attack and stroke.

This combination medication functions by blocking the ACE from making a hormone, namely angiotensin II. This hormone constricts blood vessels when it binds to receptors, so blocking it relaxes vessels, easing blood flow. This can lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.
