I was diagnosed with full-blown AIDS. The viral load was above 10 million, and the CD4 count was below 60. I was admitted to the hospital, and Retrovir was given to me for two weeks. My condition improved a lot in two weeks, and I got discharged. I took this medication for the next six months, and my CD4 was above 1100, and VL was undetected. This medication has saved my life.
