I had a Protonix injection after experiencing a severe burning sensation and possibly esophageal damage as a result of a dry cough. I never imagined that one injection each week for a month may help me overcome GERD difficulties.

I have had severe GERD for the last 20 years, and my condition was terrible then. I have tried over ten medications during this period, but none completely relieve me from GERD. Protonix is the one for me, and it stopped the acid refluxes and heartburn entirely within a few weeks without giving me any side effects. This medication is a god send for me.
