I have been taking Glucotrol since 2014. Started with 5mg twice a day and have been the same ever since. My daily sugar reading is between 91 and 101 and I have lost some weight as well. I did not try any other medication as this worked well for me from the beginning.

I was diagnosed with symptoms of Type 2 diabetes and was prescribed Glucotrol XL. I have regularly taken my meds in adjunct with exercise and a strict diet. This has lowered the blood sugar level from 240 mg/dL to 95 mg/dL without causing any ill effects. I am glad I was put on this medication by the doctor.
